And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
