Is he whose breast God has expanded unto Islam, so he walks in a light from his Lord...? But woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of God! Those are in manifest error. 22 Allah has sent down the best of Books (the Holy Qur’an), which is consistent throughout, the one with paired statements; the hairs on the skins of those who fear their Lord, stand on end with it; then their skins and their hearts soften, inclined towards the remembrance of Allah; this is the guidance of Allah, He may guide whomever He wills with it; and whomever Allah sends astray, there is no guide for him. 23 Can he who will have to shield himself against the torment of the Day of Resurrection (be the same as one at peace)? The evil-doers will be told: "So taste what you earned." 24 Those who went before them also belied, then Our punishment overtook them from where they were unaware; 25 God made them suffer humiliation in this life. Would that they knew that the torment for them in the next life will be even greater. 26 Indeed, We have struck of every manner of parable for mankind in this Koran in order that they will remember. 27 as a discourse in the Arabic tongue, free of all deviousness, so that they might become conscious of God. 28 Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not. 29 Verily thou art mortal, and verily they are mortals. 30 Then you will dispute before your Lord on the Day of Resurrection. 31
