Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
