He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 To him dost thou attend; 6 although thou art not accountable for his failure to attain to purity; 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 And he feareth 9 you pay no heed to him. 10 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 In honored books, 13 Exalted, Purified, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 No indeed! Man has not accomplished His bidding. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 and cleaved the earth, cleaving it asunder; 26 then caused the grain to grow out of it, 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 And olive-trees and palm-trees 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 mother, father, 35 wife and sons, 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 And some faces will on that Day with dust be covered, 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
