Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
