The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
