۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
