۞ Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and hoary hair after strength; He creates what He pleases, and He is the Knowing, the Powerful. 54 The day Resurrection is set the sinners will swear: "We did not tarry more than an hour (and cannot be guilty)." That is how they have always been deceived. 55 Those who have received knowledge and have faith will say, "By the decree of God, you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the Book of God about the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know." 56 The excuses of the unjust on this day will be of no avail to them and they will not be able to please God. 57 And assuredly We have propounded for mankind, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude; and if thou bringest unto them a sign, those who disbelieve are sure to say: ye are but followers of falsehood. 58 In this wise Allah sealeth the hearts of those who believe not. 59 So have patience. The promise of God is surely true; and let not those who do not believe make you relax (your endeavours). 60
