The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
