Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
