۞ Say thou: I but exhort you unto one thing: that ye stand, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then ponder; in your companion there is no madness; he is naught but a warner unto you preceding a torment severe. 46 Say to them: “Whatever recompense I might ask of you, it shall be yours. My recompense is with Allah, and He is witness over everything.” 47 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen." 48 Say: 'Truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and shall return no more.' 49 Say: If I err, I err only against my own soul, and if I follow a right direction, it is because of what my Lord reveals to me; surely He is Hearing, Nigh. 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 They will say: "We believe in it." How could they reach it from a place of no return? 52 They had surely denied it before and aimed without seeing from so far away. 53 A gulf will exist between them and their desires on the Day of Judgment like the similar people who lived before. They, too, had lived in doubt and uncertainty (about the life hereafter). 54
