1/4 Hizb 27
< random >
As for the God-fearing, they shall be amid gardens and springs. 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
