And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam; they made obeisance but Iblis (did it not). He was of the jinn, so he transgressed the commandment of his Lord. What! would you then take him and his offspring for friends rather than Me, and they are your enemies? Evil is (this) change for the unjust. 50 ۞ I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants. 51 And beware a Day whereon He will say: cry unto my associates whom ye fancied. So they will call unto them, and they will answer them not, and We shall place between them a partition. 52 The guilty shall see the Fire and realize that they are going to fall into it: they shall find no way of escape from it. 53
