The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
