Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
