Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Those who disbelieve and hinder others from the way of Allah, He shall send their works astray. 1 As for those who believe and do good deeds and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the truth from their Lord, God will remove their sins from them and set their condition right. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down its burdens. That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain. 4 He will guide them and repair their condition; 5 and He will admit them to Paradise, that He has made known to them. 6 O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm. 7 And those who disbelieve, downfall shall be theirs, and He shall send astray their works. 8 That is because they are averse to that which Allah hath revealed, therefor maketh He their actions fruitless. 9 ۞ Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable. 10 This is so for God is the friend of those who believe while the unbelievers have no friend. 11
