With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
