Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
