۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 they have enraged us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
