۞ (Then will the command be given): “Muster all the wrong-doers and their spouses and the deities whom they used to serve 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 and halt them [there]!" [And then,] behold, they shall be asked, 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 For when it was said unto them, There is no Allah save Allah, they were scornful 35 And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?" 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 But the chosen servants of God; 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 Said one of the speakers: "I had a friend 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 Then, are we not to die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum (a horrible tree in Hell)? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 Its spathes are like the heads of satans. 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Then on top of it they will have a brew of boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 for, behold, they found their forebears on a wrong way, 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 EXCEPT for God's true servants, [most people are apt to go astray.] 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
