3/4 Hizb 45

And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
