SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Till the appointed day." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
