The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Compassionate. 1 Hath taught the Qur'an. 2 He has created man: 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 In order that you may not corrupt the balance. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; 19 [yet] between them is a barrier which they may not transgress. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 There come forth from them pearls, both large and small. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
