But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
