The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 And those who race each other in a race 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 followed by the succeeding, 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 (Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state 10 even after we have turned into decayed bones?" 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 to bring them out of their graves and back to life on the earth's surface. 14 Hath there come unto thee the history of Moses? 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 "'And that I guide thee to thy Lord, so thou shouldst fear Him?'" 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he quickly turned his back. 22 then he mustered 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
