[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
