The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star); 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 It is the shining star -- 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He was created from spurting fluid, 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 and is no idle tale. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 And I am planning a scheme. 16 So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
