The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
