They ask you about the Spirit. Say, "The Spirit comes by the command of my Lord. You have been given very little knowledge. 85 If it were Our Will, We could take away that which We have sent thee by inspiration: then wouldst thou find none to plead thy affair in that matter as against Us,- 86 excepting by some mercy of thy Lord; surly His favour to thee is great. 87 Say: If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others. 88 We have indeed turned about for men in this Koran every manner of similitude; yet most men refuse all but unbelief. 89 They have said, "We shall never believe you until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth, 90 Or, until you acquire an orchard of date-palm trees and grapes, and produce rivers flowing through it; 91 or cause the sky to fall into pieces on us - as you believe you can - or bring God and the angels face to face with us, 92 "Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?" 93

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
