(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 He said:"Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
