The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
