And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
