We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
