The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
