And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
