And he who believed said: O my people! Follow me. I will show you the way of right conduct. 38 "O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever." 39 Whoever commits evil deeds will be recompensed to the same degree. The righteously striving believer, male or female, will enter Paradise wherein they will receive their sustenance without any account being kept. 40 ۞ O my people, what is wrong with me that I am calling you to preservation, while you invite me to the Fire! 41 Ye call me for this, that I should blaspheme against God and associate with Him that whereof I have no knowledge, and I call you onto the Mighty, the Forgiver. 42 What you are calling me to is surely not worth the calling in this world or in the next, because our returning is to God; and because the transgressors will be inmates of Hell. 43 And ye will remember what I say unto you. I confide my cause unto Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of (His) slaves. 44 Therefore Allah saved him from the evils of their scheming, and an evil punishment enveloped the people of Firaun. – 45 the fire [of the hereafter - that fire] which they had been made to contemplate [in vain,] morning and evening: for on the Day when the Last Hour dawns [God will say,] "Make Pharaoh's folk enter upon suffering most severe!" 46 When they dispute with one another in the Fire, the weak will say to those who deemed themselves mighty, "We were your followers; will you then relieve us of some of the Fire?" 47 Those who had been arrogant will say: "We are all in this (Fire)! Truly, Allah has judged between (his) Servants!" 48 And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Gehenna (Hell): 'Call your Lord to lessen our punishment for one day' 49 They said, “Is it not that your Noble Messengers used to come to you with clear signs?” They said, “Why not, surely yes!” They said, “Then you yourselves pray”; and the prayer of the disbelievers is nothing but astray. 50
