Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
