۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
