The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
