The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
