And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
