۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
