Al-Nesaa 16 of 24
We have sent the Book down to you with the truth so that you may judge among mankind by means of what God has shown you. And do not be an advocate for the treacherous. 105 But seek the forgiveness of Allah; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 Do not plead for those who are dishonest to themselves; Allah does not love him who betrays trust and persists in sin. 107 They hide themselves from men and do not hide themselves from Allah, and He is with them when they meditate by night words which please Him not, and Allah encompasses what they do. 108 There you are, you have argued on their behalf in the worldly life, but who will argue with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Resurrection! Or who will be a guardian for them? 109 Whosoever does evil, or wrongs himself; and then prays God's forgiveness, he shall find God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 110 Whoso committeth sin committeth it only against himself. Allah is ever Knower, Wise. 111 But if any one earns a fault or a sin and throws it on to one that is innocent, He carries (on himself) (Both) a falsehood and a flagrant sin. 112
