(Consider) when Moses said to his young companion, "I shall continue travelling until I reach the junction of the two seas or have travelled for many years". 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And when they had gone further, he said unto his servant: Bring us our breakfast. Verily we have found fatigue in this our journey. 62 He said:"Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He said, “You will never be able to patiently stay with me.” 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
