Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
