And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
