Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 Let them bring a discourse like thereunto, if they say sooth. 34 Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty. 36 Or, are the treasures of your Lord in their keeping? Or, are they the controllers? 37 Have they a ladder up to heaven by means of which they can overhear? Then let their listeners bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god, other than God? Glory be to God, above that which they associate! 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 and proclaim the praise of thy Lord in the night, and at the declining of the stars. 49
