The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
