The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful 1

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 The Compassionate, the Merciful. 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Guide us to the straight path - 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
