The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
